When you register for an account, we collect the following information:

We do not collect payment card numbers directly — payments are processed through our payment processor which maintains its own security and privacy standards.
Your information is used exclusively to operate the Impound Auctioneer (Next Ride LLC) platform. Specific uses include:
Account management — authenticating your identity, displaying your bid history and watchlist, and processing account settings changes.
Transaction processing — confirming winning bids, coordinating payment, generating Bills of Sale, and filing Title 42 applications with the Oklahoma Tax Commission on your behalf when requested.
Auction notifications — sending outbid alerts, auction ending reminders, and win confirmations via email and (with your permission) push notifications.
We do not use your information for advertising profiling, sell it to third parties, or share it beyond what is described in Section 5.
If you opt in to browser push notifications, we store your device's encrypted push subscription token to deliver outbid alerts and auction close reminders. This token does not contain any personal information — it is a unique identifier generated by your browser.
You may revoke push notification permission at any time through your browser settings or from your Account Settings page within the app. Revoking permission automatically removes your subscription token from our system.
All data is stored using Supabase (PostgreSQL), a SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure provider. Data is stored in the United States and protected by row-level security (RLS) policies that ensure each user can only access their own data.
Your password is never stored in plain text — authentication is handled securely via Supabase Auth with industry-standard bcrypt hashing.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Vehicle pickup coordination — your name and phone number may be shared with the impound facility operator solely to arrange vehicle pickup after a successful purchase.
Legal compliance — if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, we may disclose information as legally obligated.
We never share your data with advertisers, marketing platforms, data brokers, or any third parties for commercial purposes.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time from the Account Settings page within the app, or by contacting us at admin@impoundauctioneer.com.
Upon deletion, your profile information, watchlist, and preferences are permanently removed.
Bid history and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Oklahoma business record-keeping statutes and for legal compliance purposes.
We use only functional cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to operate. Specifically, we store your authentication session token (issued by Supabase) in local storage to keep you logged in between visits.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because we only use essential functional storage.
This service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered an account, please contact us immediately at admin@impoundauctioneer.com and we will promptly delete the account and all associated data.
